Plain talk

What we do — and what we don't

Trust starts with being clear about what you offer. Here are the limits of our service, up front.

What we do

  • Work out the right route and permit type for your situation
  • Check before you apply whether the employer meets the criteria
  • Prepare a document list for you and your employer and review the documents
  • Support you in preparing a complete e-İzin application and follow the process
  • Plan the fees, entry, social security and extension timeline after approval

What we don't do

  • We don't find jobs or recruit staff
  • We don't guarantee approval; the Ministry decides
  • We don't provide legal representation or litigation
  • We don't act on behalf of any government authority

Two application routes

Whether you hold a valid Turkish residence permit determines where the process starts.

If you're outside Türkiye

  1. 1Apply in person at a Turkish embassy or consulate
  2. 2Your employer applies in e-İzin with your 16-digit reference number
  3. 3After approval: visa and entry into Türkiye within 6 months
  4. 4Address registration within 20 days of entry
Applying from abroad

If you're in Türkiye

  1. 1You need a valid residence permit of at least 6 months
  2. 2Your employer applies directly in e-İzin
  3. 3A residence permit alone doesn't allow you to work
  4. 4Since 3 Aug 2026, employer criteria are relaxed for some applicants

Regulatory update

New exemptions in the assessment criteria

For in-country applications on behalf of foreigners who have legally stayed in Türkiye for at least one year in the last three years, the employment and financial criteria no longer apply for up to three people per workplace. Manufacturing, poultry farming and recycling also gained new flexibility until 31 Dec 2027.
